Meet Monica

"I believe every transformation must begin with a why—and it must leave people and organizations better than they were before."

~Mónica López González

From Humble Beginnings to Global Impact

Monica Lopez Gonzalez’s story begins far from the boardrooms of billion-dollar companies. Raised in a humble home in Mexico, she learned early the power of resilience, curiosity, and service to others. Though her parents only completed elementary school, they instilled in her and her siblings the belief that education, hard work, and showing up for others were non-negotiables. That foundation shaped Monica into the leader she is today—human-centered, forward-thinking, and uncompromising in her pursuit of purposeful growth and lasting impact.

Over the course of more than 20 years, Monica rose through the ranks of global corporations, becoming a trusted C-suite executive and enterprise transformation leader. At Stanley Black & Decker, she drove growth across a $15B brand portfolio by reinventing go-to-market strategies and establishing a digital-first Center of Excellence that expanded market share and boosted marketing ROI by 30% in under 12 months.

At Fellowes Brands, she led a $900M P&L, orchestrating a global transformation that achieved a 15% revenue lift and a 50% increase in marketing ROI. Earlier in her career at Kimberly-Clark and DanoneWave, she uncovered more than $1B in new revenue opportunities by aligning data, strategy, and deep consumer insight.

While performance metrics matter, Monica’s leadership extends beyond the numbers. She has built and inspired high-performing teams that thrive on clarity, empathy, and innovation. Her people-first approach has cultivated cultures where individuals feel inspired to take bold action and organizations are equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Today, as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, Monica applies enterprise leadership to a $5B network working to end hunger in America. With 50 million Americans experiencing food insecurity—14 million of them children—she is committed to systemic solutions that create real, lasting change. Her passion for service also traces back to her years as a first responder with the Red Cross in Mexico, where she and her husband dedicated weekends to helping those in crisis.

Monica’s journey—grounded in values, fueled by vision, and proven by results—has prepared her to guide organizations, boards, and leaders through their most critical transformations. She is the rare executive who anticipates industry shifts, unlocks human potential, and translates purpose into measurable growth and sustainable performance.
